E.P. Carrillo Connecticut Shipping Now

A new brand in the E.P. Carrillo Essence Series is on its way to retailers and it’s the mildest blend in the line. Called E.P. Carrillo Connecticut, it’s the fourth brand in the series, which owner Ernesto Perez-Carrillo plans on extending to six lines.
E.P. Carrillo Connecticut consists of an Ecuador Connecticut-seed wrapper atop a Honduran Criollo ’98 binder and fillers from Honduras and the Dominican Republic.
The line is available in three sizes: Corona, measuring 5 1/2 inches by 44 ring gauge ($9.25); Robusto, 5 by 50 ($9.75); and Toro, 6 by 52 ($10.50). All come in 24-count boxes.
The first two installments of the Essence Series—Honduras line is made at the Plasencias' Tabacos de Oriente, and the Connecticut is made at AgroIndustrias Diadema.
