Two New Releases Coming From Room101: 13th Anniversary and The Big Payback Nicaragua

Room101 brand owner Matt Booth is celebrating 13 years in the cigar business with a limited-edition smoke that will debut at the PCA trade show this July, along with The Big Payback Nicaragua, a regular-production, Nicaraguan offshoot of his core brand The Big Payback.
The Room101 13th Anniversary is a 6-inch-by-52-ring-gauge toro that will come in pink boxes of 20 cigars. A Nicaraguan 11th Anniversary was kept secret).
Booth told Cigar Aficionado that approximately 1,500 boxes of 13th Anniversary cigars will be produced. If the text on the box's inner lid looks upside down, it's not a mistake. Booth purposely inverted the letters for what he calls "lucky 13."
The Big Payback Nicaragua also consists entirely of Nicaraguan tobaccos and is made by Joya de Nicaragua in Estelí, Nicaragua (where the Connecticut version of Big Payback is made, while the Maduro version is made in Honduras). It’s offered in either teal boxes of 40 or bundles of 20 and there are three sizes: Robusto, measuring 5 1/4 by 50; Toro, 6 by 54; and Gordo, 6 by 60.
Prices for both releases have yet to be finalized but Booth stated that pricing will be in line with comparable products in his portfolio.
Room101 13th Anniversary is expected to reach retailers by the end of the summer, while The Big Payback Nicaragua is expected to arrive this fall.
