La Aroma de Cuba Pasión Box-Pressed Torpedo

Tasting Note
When Ashton Distributors first introduced the original La Aroma de Cuba line in 2002, it was made in Honduras. Today, it’s produced in Nicaragua by the Garcia family of My Father Cigars, with multiple offshoots. One of the more recent versions is the Pasión line. According to Ashton’s Sathya Levin, the blend took two years to get just right, the star of which is the Cuban-seed wrapper, grown under shade by the Garcias in Namanji, Nicaragua. The tapered head of this torpedo concentrates every puff, which is both leathery and spicy at its core, complemented by notes of minerals and a sweet hint of cinnamon that ushers in a cedary finish.
