After Nat Sherman International closed its doors in 2020, it seemed the company’s cigar brands were fated for oblivion. But in 2021, former Nat Sherman executives Michael Herklots and Brendon Scott formed Ferio Tego, and soon bought the rights to Nat Sherman brands such as Timeless, Metropolitan and Epoca. After limited-edition releases of Ferio Tego, the company debuted its flagship, regular-production line with Ferio Tego Summa in 2023. The Ferio Tego Summa Corona Gorda stands out with a spicy core of black and red pepper accented by notes of roasted chestnut, leather, orange peel and cocoa powder.
