Burn By Rocky Patel Comes to Indianapolis
Rocky Patel has opened his fifth Burn cigar bar and lounge, this time in the state capital of Indiana. Called Burn by Rocky Patel Indianapolis, the upscale and heavily stylized smoking lounge opened last month in downtown Indianapolis, providing cigar lovers with a 5,800 square foot sanctuary to sip, smoke and socialize in style.
The new space has two floors, seating for approximately 240 guests, two full-service bars—one upstairs and one downstairs—and a walk-in humidor stocked with the full collection of My Father.
“[Burn Indianapolis] has two levels—the downstairs with a full bar and beautiful seating in three distinct areas with plush, high-back chairs and comfortable high-top tables to accommodate all our guests,” Stephen Drenth, director of operations for Burn, told Cigar Aficionado. “The upstairs loft has two VIP areas with oversized couches and distinctive chairs along with a fully stocked bar.”
Burn Indianapolis is part of the Burn by Rocky Patel cigar lounge concept, which includes locations in Naples, Florida. Each Burn lounge is designed to reflect the local culture of its surrounding city. Burn Indianapolis is no different, with a design theme that speaks to the city's strong heritage in auto racing.
“The décor reflects the city’s love of racing with photos and displays from vintage race cars and races,” Drenth explained. For a bit of contrast, Burn Indianapolis is also decorated with exotic items from around the world. “The upstairs lighted ceiling, light fixtures and other beautiful decorations were imported from Turkey and Morocco—as well as some of the artwork designed and installed by local artists.”
Burn by Rocky Patel Indianapolis is located at 110 S. Meridian St, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46204. The lounge is open Monday through Saturday, 3 p.m. to 2 a.m.; and Sunday, 3 p.m. to midnight.
