Grand Opening Set for Burn By Rocky Patel Oklahoma City

After a slight delay, Burn by Rocky Patel Oklahoma City is officially opening the doors to its upscale, cigar-friendly lounge this week. Burn by Rocky Patel Oklahoma City, the third location that that company has opened so far, will celebrate its grand opening with a VIP event tomorrow night. The lounge will then open to the public on Thursday at 2 p.m.
When details of Burn by Rocky Patel Oklahoma City were announced in March, the grand opening was originally set for April 26. That date, however, was pushed back to tomorrow night due to the “design phase being incomplete,” said Mark Weissenberger, vice president of marketing for Rocky Patel Cigars. Due to a tax technicality, the Oklahoma City location has actually been doing business for some time.
Like the other Burn by Rocky Patel locations in which opened earlier this year, the Oklahoma City store offers a high-end cigar lounge experience complete with cigars from not only the Rocky Patel brand portfolio, but also third-party cigars. According to the company, the Oklahoma City lounge sells more than 300 cigar brands, including all Rocky Patel brands.
“We’re changing how people are looking at cigar bars with live music, DJ sets and a livelier atmosphere,” said owner Rocky Patel in a press release. “Burn will speak to a different dynamic of people. We are bringing new types of people into the [ cigar] category, including women, young men, and future business leaders.”
The Oklahoma City sports a modern decor with a Native American flair. It’s a three-story tall building located in Chisholm Creek, a new 190-acre development. The cigar-friendly space totals about 7,655 square feet and features a humidor on the first floor as well as a VIP lounge, a second floor humidor and lounge, and an in-and-out rooftop smoking deck with a high-end bar on the top floor.
Burn by Rocky Patel will be open daily from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m.
