J.C. Newman Kicks Off #BrickHouseAtMyHouse Contest

Cigar companies have been lending a helping hand to those who fuel the cigar industry, whether it be J.C. Newman announced yesterday that it will be partnering with retailers around the country to offer a special bundle of Brick House cigars and kick off a coinciding contest with prizes. The aim of the #BrickHouseAtMyHouse event is to bring retailers and customers back in touch (figuratively) and bring some fun to those who are smoking at home.
The cigar package includes five miscellaneous Brick House Teasers that have been aged for five years and a J.C. Newman torch lighter. J.C. Newman will start by distributing the packages to retailers nationwide. Cigar lovers will then safely pick up their orders from a listed retailer near them and follow instructions on how to enter the social media aspect of the contest in order to win prizes.
Once a consumer has a Brick House package, they’re instructed to post a photo of a Brick House cigar with the hashtag #BrickHouseAtMyHouse on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. This will enter them into a contest for a chance to win a J.C. Newman 125th Anniversary backpack, filled with classic, stay-at-home games like dominoes and crosswords.
Nine lucky winners will get backpacks and one ultimate winner will win the grand prize of a Brick House "Man Cave" chair. The black recliner is said to be valued at $1,500.
"We are continuing to look at this pandemic with a glass-half-full approach," said Tampa-based company. "If we can help our retailers, and give everyone a reason to relax (with a good cigar) then we are doing our small part."
Participating retailers can be found on their website, and other retailers are encouraged to as well. The event launched yesterday, April 21, and the social media contest will run for two weeks. Winners will be chosen on Friday, May 15.
