Siglo NBA Reclaimed Humidor Holds A Bit Of Basketball History

Siglo Accessory is going to court—the basketball court, that is. The Hong Kong-based company has released a limited-edition humidor crafted with reclaimed wood taken from the court where the 2011 NBA All-Star game in Los Angeles was played.
For the project, Siglo worked directly with NBA Reclaimed, an officially licensed program of the National Basketball Association that repurposes authentic, game-used NBA basketball courts for unique products and collectibles.
NBA fans might the 2011 All-Star game. It’s the one where Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and other talented players of the Western Conference defeated the Eastern Conference in a close, hotly-contested exhibition that marked Bryant’s fourth career All-Star MVP award.
According to Siglo, the floorboards still have all the scuffs, marks and scratches so that “traces of footprints of your favorite player may be found somewhere on the humidor,” the company says.
The interior of the 200-count humidor is Spanish cedar, and equipped with two humidifiers and a hygrometer. It has a suggested retail price of HK$35,000 or $4,500.
Each humidor comes with a certificate of authenticity and a map of the court marking the exact location of where the wood came from. Only 150 Siglo NBA Reclaimed humidors were produced.
This wouldn’t be the first time that reclaimed court wood was used on a humidor. J.C. Newman Cigar Co. released a similar product in 2023.
