Villiger Modifies Packaging Of Two Cigar Brands

Two Villiger cigar brands are slated to undergo some packaging modifications, as the company moves to consolidate its cigar lines for better brand awareness and continuity. The word “Villiger” will now appear on the La Libertad and Cuellar Connecticut Krēmē cigar boxes along with the Villiger logo. The box for La Libertad has also been completely redesigned.
La Libertad cigars, which previously shipped in slide-lid wooden boxes, now come in glossy red-and-black boxes of 20 to better match the colors on the existing cigar bands. La Libertad is a Dominican-made cigar that debuted in the United States in 2010.
Cuellar Connecticut Krēmē will also incorporate the Villager logo, but no other changes to the packaging were made. These mild cigars are made in the Dominican Republic with Connecticut wrappers.
The blends for both La Libertad and Cuellar Connecticut Krēmē remain unchanged.
