Freud Cigar To Introduce AlterEgo This Month

Freud Cigar Co. is releasing its newest cigar later this month, a brand called AlterEgo that’s made with a variety of different tobaccos. According to Freud, these cigars have been aging since February of last year.
AlterEgo is made in the Dominican Republic by industry veteran seed varieties: Pelo de Oro, Corojo, ’Havana 92 and Piloto Cubano.
The new brand comes in 10-count boxes and is offered in three sizes: Toro, measuring 6 inches by 52 ring gauge; a 5-by-50 Robusto; and a Lonsdale at 6 1/2 by 43. They will have suggested retail prices of $28, $26 and $25, respectively.
This is the second collaboration between William Ventura in the Dominican Republic.
AlterEgo will be introduced to retailers at the Tobacco Plus Expo trade show later this month before a launch party on February 23 at Davidoff Cigar Bar in Las Vegas. Retailers can expect the cigars to start shipping at the beginning of March.
