God Of Fire Celebrates Its 20th Anniversary With New Cigars

God of Fire, the sister company to cigar accessories manufacturer Prometheus International Inc., is celebrating its 20-year milestone with a series of new anniversary cigars and products. The first shipments of the new smokes and accessories will begin in August, with the remainder coming later this year.
As part of the celebration, God of Fire is debuting a new cigar line called God of Fire KKP Never Back Down. The company is also adding a new size to its existing God of Fire KKP Special Reserve line. Both are made by the Fuente family in the Dominican Republic.
Never Back Down will be available in two sizes, the Gran Toro 56 (6 inches by 56 ring gauge) and the Piramide 58 (5 1/4 by 58). If you want to try Never Back Down in August, it’s only offered in either a four-count sampler or in a 10-count sampler. The four-count will retail for $249 per box and comes in two finishes, black lacquer and macassar ebony. Each box includes:
- God of Fire KKP Never Back Down Gran Toro 56
- God of Fire KKP Never Back Down Piramide 58
- God of Fire KKP Special Reserve Gran Toro 56
- God of Fire KKP Special Reserve Piramide 58
At $450, the 10-count sampler is more comprehensive. It comes in black lacquer and macassar ebony finishes and offers the following:
- God of Fire KKP Special Reserve Gran Toro 56
- God of Fire KKP Never Back Down Gran Toro 56
- God of Fire KKP Special Reserve Piramide 58
- God of Fire KKP Never Back Down Piramide 58
- God of Fire Aniversario 56
- Two God of Fire Serie B Diademas
- God of Fire Serie B Gran Toro 56
- God of Fire by Don Carlos Robusto
- God of Fire by Carlito Piramide
Later this year, Never Back Down will be released in limited-edition, travel humidors of 10 cigars. Both cigars have a suggested retail price of $53.95 each, or $539.50 per humidor.
The God of Fire KKP Special Reserve was first released in 2021 as part of the Prometheus 30th anniversary in 2022. The initial release included two sizes, the Gran Toro 56 and the Piramide 58, which are included in the samplers. As part of the 20th God of Fire anniversary, the Special Reserve line is also getting a new size, a box-pressed Toro Extra 54 (6 1/4 by 54). The cigar will be released in the fourth quarter of this year with a suggested retail price of $53.95. The Toro Extra 54 is not included in either of the samplers.
A series of lighters, cutters and cabinet humidors to celebrate the anniversary are also scheduled for release. The God of Fire Never Back Down Cutter H will be offered alongside four anniversary lighter models: Magma T, Magma X, Ultimo X and Retro. Only 600 units are being produced for each model, with prices ranging between $99 to $189, depending on the accessory. The Cutter H, Magma T and Ultimo X will ship in August, whereas the Magma X and Retro will go out in September.
The God of Fire Never Back Down cabinet humidors will be much more limited. Only 20 humidors are slated for release: 10 with a Red Sycamore finish and 10 with a Blue Sycamore finish. They will come packed with 100 God of Fire KKP Never Back Down and Special Reserve cigars, and are expected to ship later this year, with a suggested retail price of $11,000.
