La Aurora Celebrates 120 Years With New Line

This year, ProCigar Festival last week and are scheduled to ship in late spring, with the cigars hitting the U.S. market first before shipping internationally.
“As we commemorate our 120th anniversary, we are proud to mark a milestone that will serve as a reference point for many years to come. Our commitment has always been with creating cigars that embody the rich, distinct flavors of the cigar world,” said Guillermo León, president of La Aurora.
The celebratory smokes are Dominican Corojo filler. According to the company, the cigars are medium-to full-bodied in strength.
The line will be available in four sizes: Robusto, measuring 5 inches by 50 ring gauge; Toro, 5 1/2 by 54; Gran Toro, 6 by 58; and Churchill, 7 by 47. The company says it still is uncertain as to the final price. All the sizes will ship in boxes of 20.
