Company Highlight

Founded by Robert Levin in 1985, Ashton Distributors Inc. is a family-owned company headquartered in Philadelphia. After a humble start, sweeping the floor of his father's Philadelphia cigar store, Levin took over the family business in the 1970s, then created the original Ashton in the 1980s. His cigar grew up to be an industry giant, and in 1999 he trumped his earlier success with the addition of the Ashton Virgin Sun Grown line. It also oversees the sales and distribution of such brands as Ashton Estate Sun Grown, La Aroma de Cuba, and San Cristobal. In 2004, Levin's son, Sathya, ed the company in a full-time capacity.

Ashton

Created in 1980, Ashtons are rolled at the legendary Tabacalera A. Fuente factory in the Dominican Republic. Its offshoot brands include Ashton Cabinet, Ashton Aged Maduro, and Ashton Cabinet Selection.

La Aroma De Cuba

First launched in 2003, this brand was reblended by José "Pepin" Garcia and reintroduced in 2009 with a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper and all-Nicaraguan tobaccos inside.

San Cristobal
