Vertical Brand Tasting
A comparative tasting of every size, or vitola, within a particular cigar brand. Each size and shape is taste-tested and rated . The purpose is to determine which vitola is the top performer for a particular blend of tobaccos and how each compares to one another, as even though the blends may be identical on paper the difference in each size plays a role in how the final cigar performs. Such tastings are typically done for new cigar brand releases, and can be found in the newsletter Cigar Insider.
