Aganorsa Leaf Aniversario Goes Connecticut

Nicaraguan cigarmaker Aganorsa Leaf is introducing a lighter version of its Aniversario line, called Aniversario Connecticut, which will come draped in a light, Ecuador Connecticut cover leaf. The cigars will appear next month at the PCA trade show in Las Vegas.
Rolled at the Aganorsa Leaf factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, all the tobaccos used in the blend (other than the wrapper) were grown by Aganorsa. The blend features a pair of Criollo ’98 binder leaves from Estelí, while the fillers are a mix of Corojo from both Jalapa and Estelí.
Aniversario Connecticut will be available in two box-pressed vitolas: Robusto, measuring 5 inches by 54 ring gauge ($14.50); and Toro, 6 1/4 by 52 ($15.50). Both sizes come in blue boxes of 10.
Aganorsa Leaf Aniversario Connecticut is a regular-production cigar, and the cigars are expected to ship in August.
Aniversario Connecticut brings up the Aniversario brand to three lines, the other two being Corojo and Maduro.
