Aganorsa Leaf Debuts Corojo 2012 Wrapper On New Guardian Of The Farm
Evoking a beast of Greek mythology, Aganorsa Leaf has unleashed a new version of its Guardian of the Farm brand called Cerberus, and the all-Nicaraguan cigar is serving as a showcase for Aganorsa’s Corojo 2012 cover leaf grown in the Jalapa region. The new smoke is heading to cigar shops now.
Like previous cigars in the Guardian of the Farm series, dogs are central to the theme, though this time Aganorsa has turned to classic Greek myth—Cerberus was the three-headed hound that guarded the gates to the underworld.
Guardian of the Farm Cerberus is a Nicaraguan Aganorsa’s farms. This release represents the company’s first commercial use of the Corojo 2012 varietal, which Aganorsa says “contributes to light spice and a rich, smooth body to the blend.”
The regular-production line comes in three sizes: A Toro at 6 1/4 inches by 54 ring gauge ($10.50); a 6-by-44 Lonsdale ($9.50); and a Robusto at 5 by 54 ($9.99). All three ship in boxes of 15 and are made in Nicaragua at the Aganorsa Leaf factory.
