Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Figurado Coming this Fall

If you’ve ever wondered what Cigar Aficionado’s 2019 Cigar of the Year would taste like as a double-tapered figurado, you’ll be able to find out this fall. In November, Altadis U.S.A. will be releasing the Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Impromptu, a limited-edition, box-pressed cigar tapered at both ends that measures 6 1/2 inches by 52 ring gauge.
Impromptu is the first new size since the brand debuted in 2018, and has the same heady blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos that propelled the Maestro size to Cigar of the Year stardom, only slightly adjusted to accommodate the new, contoured shape. It will come in 10-count boxes and is set to retail for $12.75 per cigar. Only 6,000 boxes are being produced.
Like all cigars in the distributed under contract by Altadis.
Although the 2019 Cigar of the Year is a torpedo of nearly the same size, Nodal believes that the double-tapered Impromptu shape “allows the flavors of this blend to shine in a new and exceptional way.”
