Cigar Lovers Can Win Two Tickets To The 25th Habanos Festival
Cuba’s Habanos Festival offers an illuminating and rare view into the alluring world of Cuban cigars. Every year, the busy week, loaded with itineraries that include everything from factory visits to parties honoring specific Cuban brands, culminates in the Gala Dinner featuring recording-breaking auctions, limited cigar releases and a full meal, with lavish entertainment and plenty of Cuban cigars. This year, the celebration is getting a special twist as cigar aficionados have a chance to win two free tickets to the Gala Dinner.
It’s a grand affair: you enter the vast room at the Pabexpo Center in Havana and are handed cigars (and other goodies), sit down to a multicourse meal served by waiters, watch grand shows with singers, dancers and other entertainment and smoke many cigars while awards are given out on stage. It’s not a cheap ticket, selling for more than $1,000 apiece.
The 2025 Habanos Festival takes place the last week of February, with the Gala Dinner wrapping things up on Friday, February 28. This year is a particularly fruitful year for Cuban cigar anniversaries. It’s not only the 25th Habanos Festival, but it’s also the 15th anniversary of one of Cuba’s most beloved and sought-after cigar lines, Cohiba Behike. With great anniversaries come great celebrations, and in this case, great opportunities.
Habanos is making the contest quite straightforward, with a theme centered around Behike. See the rules below:
- To participate you have to answer the following question in the comments of this Instagram post: “What is the magic of Behike?”
- According to Habanos, “your answer should inspire and capture the essence of Cohiba Behike.”
- You will also have to use the hashtag #25FestivalHabano and follow their Instagram (@habanos_oficial)
- Habanos says they will be judging by creativity and that your submission must be recorded by January 28. You can comment in both English or Spanish.
Should you win, you need to find your own way to Cuba. It’s not clear when exactly Habanos will announce the winner.
