Crowned Heads Mil Días Gets Limited-Edition Size
Nashville’s Crowned Heads is adding a new, limited-edition size to its Mil Días brand in advance of the holiday season. Called Mil Días Belicosos Finos LE 2023, retailers can expect the new cigar to start shipping in a few weeks.
The cigar is a torpedo measuring 5 1/2 inches by 52 ring gauge, the same dimensions as the Bolivar Belicoso Fino. It consists of an Ecuador Habano wrapper atop a Nicaraguan binder leaf and a mix of fillers from Peru, Costa Rica and Nicaragua. It has a suggested retail price of $12.95 each.
"This year has been so successful for Crowned Heads, and we wanted to close it out not only with a bang, but also with offering something special to everyone who's ed us," says Crowned Heads co-founder Jon Huber. "Historically, we've only utilized the Belicoso Fino vitola in our Le Carême blend as a limited-edition, and recently as a sampler exclusive size in our Las Calaveras EL 2023 sampler.”
Made in Nicaragua at the TacaNisa factory in Estelí, production is limited to just 1,500 boxes of 12, a production run of 18,000 cigars.
