Ferio Tego Timeless 2022 TAA Exclusive Heads To Retailers Today

A new, limited-edition smoke from Tobacconists’ Association of America.
Made in Nicaragua by the Plasencia family, it will be available in only one size, a 6-inch-by-50-ring-gauge toro. The cigar is composed entirely of Nicaraguan tobaccos, and according to Michael Herklots, who co-owns Ferio Tego, the blend is on the stronger side.
It retails for $15 each and comes in bundles of 10 wrapped in smoky-gray paper. Production will be limited to only 700 bundles.
While the color scheme of the packaging is similar to the Timeless TAA 2020 Limited Edition from Nat Sherman, which was also a Nicaraguan puro made by the Plasencias, Herklots says that the blend of this new cigar is similar in spirit but not identical.
“We are very proud to be of the TAA,” Herklots tells Cigar Aficionado. “The exclusive series portfolio is truly a best-in-class selection of cigars, so it’s quite a privilege to be able to offer a Ferio Tego exclusive during our first year as a company.”
