Herrera Esteli Limited Edition Lanceros Return This Summer

A pair of slender, limited-edition smokes from Drew Estate are returning to cigar retailers this summer. the Herrera Esteli Connecticut Broadleaf Tienda Exclusiva Lancero, will be heading to shops that are part of the Drew Diplomat Program, approximately 600 locations nationwide.
Made in Nicaragua at the La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate factory, the skinny smokes measure 7 inches by 38 ring gauge. Due to the difficulty of rolling of such a thin size, only four roller-buncher teams in the entire factory are tasked with producing them.
“The Lancero is generally my favorite size,” said master blender Willy Herrera in a press release. “[It] allows the smoking characteristics of those beautiful leaves—especially their nuances—to truly grab your attention.”
The Herrera Esteli Habano Edicion Limitada Lancero consists of an Ecuador Habano wrapper, Honduran binder and Nicaraguan filler. The Connecticut Broadleaf Tienda Exclusiva Lancero, which was a store exclusive until 2020, is rolled with a Connecticut broadleaf cover leaf, Brazilian Mata Fina binder and Nicaraguan fillers. According to the company, the Habano Lancero is on the medium-bodied side, whereas the Broadleaf is a little stronger at medium to full.
The Broadleaf Lancero and the Habano are expected to hit the market in July. Both come in boxes of 15 with a suggested retail price of $12.95 per cigar.
