HVC Hot Cake Shipping this Month

Inspired by the popular idiom “selling like hotcakes,” HVC’s new Hot Cake brand is intended to be a sibling cigar to 2016’s Pan Caliente line—a cigar of the same name in Spanish, but with a more full-bodied blend.
Made at the Aganorsa Leaf factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, Hot Cake is rolled with a Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper, Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 binder from Jalapa and all-Nicaraguan filler, including a leaf of maduro Corojo 2006. The binder and fillers were all grown on farms owned by Aganorsa.
Hot Cake will be available in three vitolas: Corona Gorda, measuring 5 5/8 inches by 46 ring gauge ($7.40); Laguito No. 4, 4 1/2 by 52 ($8.00) and Laguito No. 5, 6 by 54 ($9.00).
The cigars are expected to begin shipping to retailers on July 22 in 25-count boxes.
