Inch Nicaragua Gets Massive 70 Ring Gauge Cigar

Cigars of Inch Nicaragua line, which was first released in 2022. Now it’s largest size ever, the No. 70, began shipping last week.
The thickness of a cigar is measured in 64ths of an inch, so a whopping 70 ring gauge (not to mention the length of seven inches) makes this cigar considerably massive. It has a suggested retail price of $15.50 and comes in boxes of 24.
The No. 70 was introduced to retailers at last year’s PCA trade show. According to Perez-Carrillo, the addition of the new size was due to customer response.
“The Inch 70 has always been very much in demand,” he told Cigar Aficionado. “We decided to make the Inch Nicaragua in a 70 because I think our Inch fans will enjoy them, and in many events and on social media, were asking for us to do the Inch Nicaragua in this size.”
While the other Inch lines are made at Perez-Carrillo’s factory in the Dominican Republic, Inch Nicaragua is rolled by the Plasencias in Nicaragua. The Plasencias also grew all the tobaccos used in the cigar, including the shade-grown leaf from Nicaragua’s Jalapa region.
The No. 70 brings the line up to four sizes.
