Isla Del Cocodrilo From Warped Heads To Market

Did you ever notice how the island of Cuba sort of resembles a crocodile? That’s how it got the nickname isla del cocodrilo, and this inspired Warped to play on the theme with a new cigar that just went out to cigar shops.
Isla del Cocodrilo, which translates to “island of the crocodile,” doesn’t have any Cuban tobacco in it, of course, but instead is composed of Ecuadoran wrapper, two binders (one Ecuador Habano 2000, the other “topping,” this is done so that the plant redirects its energy back into the leaf as opposed to creating a new flower, resulting in stronger tobacco.
Isla del Cocodrilo is made in the Dominican Republic at the Tabacalera La Isla factory. It comes in two sizes: Corona Gorda at 5 5/8 inches by 46 ring gauge, and a 6-by-52 Toro. They retail for $13 and $14, respectively, and are packaged in boxes of 15.
