Jaime Garcia 10th Anniversary Shipping Next Month

The Garcia family is celebrating a 10-year milestone with the release of a limited-edition smoke. Called Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial 10th Anniversary Limited Edition 2019, the 6 1/2 inch by 52 ring gauge Toro commemorates the initial release of the Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial, a brand that debuted in 2009. Rolled with a tobacco not found in the regular-production version of the brand, the new cigar should be shipping to retailers November 1.
Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial 10th Anniversary is covered in a Pelo d'Oro tobacco in the filler, a varietal that’s known for its strength and sweetness. It’s also considered to be a challenging, low-yield tobacco for farmers to grow, due to its susceptibility to disease.
The binder and filler tobacco in the cigar (including the Pelo d'Oro) is grown on the Garcia family farms in Nicaragua. Set to retail for $20 each before taxes, the 10th Anniversary Toro comes packaged 16 cigars per box. Only 2,500 boxes will be released.
Made at the the following year.
