Matilde Limited Exposure No. 1 Heading To Stores

Matilde’s Limited Exposure No. 1, which is made in the new Tabacalera La Isla factory in the Dominican Republic, will be shipping tomorrow. According to brand owner Enrique Seijas, the cigars will be arriving at the warehouse today and going out to retailers tomorrow morning.
The cigar was previewed this summer at the PCA tradeshow in Las Vegas and comes in one size—a Toro that measures 6 inches by 50 ring gauge. Limited Exposure No. 1 is made with an all-Dominican tobacco blend, save for the Mexican wrapper, and is the first in what Seijas hopes will be a series.
Packaged in 20-count boxes, the Matilde Limited Exposure No. 1 has a suggested retail price of $10.50 per cigar, and while the word “Limited” is in the brand name, Seijas intends this to be a continual production, but in limited amounts.
This is the only Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic. Matilde cigars are distributed by Sutliff Tobacco Co.
Enrique Seijas is the son of José Seijas, a cigar industry veteran and a member of Cigar Aficionado’s Hall of Fame.
