Mini Cuban Cohibas And Montecristos For Year Of The Snake

Cuba Lunar New Year with a trio of humidors all themed to 2025’s Chinese horoscope—the Year of the Snake.
The first humidor holds 88 Cohiba Shorts, machine-made cigarillos measuring 3 1/4 inches long by 26 ring gauge. Not to be confused with Cohiba Clubs or Cohiba Minis (which are both slimmer, and also machine made), Cohiba Shorts were launched in 2016 and typically come in carboard packs of 10. Only 28,888 of these humidors will be released.
The second humidor, with its bright, glossy yellow exterior, houses 66 Montecristo Shorts and is designed with a similar zodiacal theme. Only 13,480 humidors are being released.
The third humidor (above) is an outlier. A special run of 28 Cohiba humidors have been decorated with 24-karat gold-plated designs and smoky quartz gems inlaid as the eyeballs of a snake. Unlike the standard issue, these special humidors were made by HumidifGroup.
Each of these will be released globally, and Spanish distributor Tabacalera S.L.U. anticipates receiving them next month. In Spain, the Montecristo humidor is set to have a suggested retail price of 120 euros (about $125) while the Cohiba will run for 190 euros, which works out to around $196. As of now, Spain does not have a retail price for the special, gold-leafed humidors, but it’s safe to assume that they’ll be more expensive.
