My Favorite Cigar

Chase Rice • Country Music Singer • La Flor Dominicana Andalusian Bull
Cigars are known to bring people closer together; and the same extends to musicians, says country singer and sometime reality TV personality Chase Rice. On the road, he and his bandmates gather chairs outside the tour bus and light up. His favorite smoke is the La Flor Dominicana Andalusian Bull.
The Diamond-certified songwriter even lights up on stage, where he’ll opt for a smaller cigar like the Micallef Migdalia Petit Corona. “It’s something I’ll occasionally fire up with a few songs left in my set. Gives me the quick hit I love, being smaller, and I can typically be through it in a few songs.”
With a packed touring schedule and more than 2.6 million albums sold, Rice, who turns 39 in September, still finds time to kick back with friends and cigars at his 152-acre farm in Tennessee, where he raises bison. “A Liga Privada No. 9 is my go-to. I love these after dinner—and when we do steak nights at my farm, we hang for a bit after—so I prefer a toro because our nights tend to last a little while once we bring out the cigars and Bourbon.”
Chase Rice’s new album, Go Down Singin,’ drops September 20th.
