Tatuaje Boris Karloff Cigar Coming This Month

Tatuaje is either very late for Halloween or very early. Whichever way you look at it, the monster-themed Tatuaje Boris Karloff is returning to retailers. It’s a follow-up to the Tatuaje Karloff in 2020, and shipping to tobacconists later this month.
For those unfamiliar with classic horror movies from Universal Pictures, Boris Karloff was the actor who portrayed Frankenstein’s monster in the 1931 film Frankenstein and Imhotep in The Mummy the next year. Tatuaje’s since 2008. Fans of the Tatuaje Monster Series might recall a similarly named cigar called The Boris in 2009. The idea was to commemorate the actors behind the monsters as well as the monsters themselves, and Johnson never abandoned the theme.
Measuring 5 5/8 inches by 49 ring gauge, the Boris Karloff is a full inch shorter than 2020’s Karloff but retains the same thickness. It has a suggested retail price of $15. Both have an all-Nicaraguan blend under an Ecuador Sumatra wrapper.
According to the company, the cigar is medium-full in of strength.
Made in Nicaragua at My Father Cigars S.A., the Boris Karloff is limited to 1,000 boxes of 20, or 20,000 cigars.
