Two JFR Lines Get A 70 Ring Gauge Robusto

JFR series, the value brand intended for brick-and-mortar cigar shops. (The letters J, F and R stand for “Just For Retailers.”) Called Mi Favorito, the short, fat cigar measures 5 inches long with a hefty 70 ring gauge. It’s offered in both the JFR Maduro and Corojo lines and is expected to start shipping in the latter half of October.
“We felt a new size was long overdue so we selected a squat, corpulent vitola that fits perfectly amongst the other sizes of the line,” Terence Reilly, vice president of sales and marketing said.
The Corojo version of the blend is made with only Nicaraguan tobacco, as is the Maduro save for the San Andrés wrapper from Mexico. Both are rolled in Nicaragua at the Aganorsa Leaf factory
Shipping in boxes of 28, the Corojo Mi Favorito will have a suggested retail price of $8.30 each, while the Maduro will retail for $8.70.
The Mi Favorito brings the Corojo and Maduro JFR lines to six sizes each.
