CAO Vision 2022 Coming In November

The glossy white humidor with the colorful illumination is back. CAO Vision returning in 2020. The cigars were best known for their white, futuristic humidor, which lit up much like a laptop computer. Next month General Cigar Co. will be releasing CAO Vision 2022. The blend is different from the 2020 release, but the humidor will still light up with the brand’s signature glow, only this time the lights have gone from blue to orange.
The limited-edition CAO Vision 2022 comes in just one size, a Toro measuring 6 inches by 52 ring gauge. It’s made in Nicaragua at the STG Estelí factory where most CAO cigars are produced. The Honduran wrapper from the Jamastran Valley covers a Nicaraguan binder from Jalapa. Underneath is a blend of more Nicaraguan tobacco grown in the country’s three major tobacco regions—Estelí, Condega and Jalapa.
CAO Vision’s updated box is made with holographic foil treatments, LED lights and two push-sensitive drawers that hold 15 cigars each. The Vision Toros have a suggested retail price of $18.99 apiece, or $569.70 for the 30-count humidor.
Only 1,700 humidors are being produced for the U.S. market. They should be available at the start of November. An additional 1,000 humidors will be going overseas to European retailers in the first quarter of 2023.
