Casa Turrent Introducing New Lines In 2022

Mexican cigar company Casa Turrent is expanding its 1880 brand with three new lines that will begin shipping in a staggered manner to retailers starting in January.
Made at the Casa Turrent factory in Mexico, all three new blends (Doble Claro, Rosado and Doble Maduro) are made entirely of tobaccos grown by the Turrent family in Mexico.
Doble Claro is made with a light Connecticut-seed wrapper from Mexico, a dark San Andrés Negro binder and a mix of Habano Criollo San Andrés and Negro San Andrés fillers.
Rosado is rolled with a Habano wrapper, a Habano 2000 binder and Habano Criollo San Andrés fillers.
Doble Maduro is entirely made out of San Andrés Negro tobaccos.
The new blends will come in the same five sizes as the previous four 1880 lines: Short Robusto, measuring 4 3/4 by 52 ring gauge ($13.80), which will debut in January; Perfecto, 5 1/2 by 54 ($16.60), coming in February; Robusto, 5 1/4 by 55 ($16.20), which goes on sale in March; Lancero, 7 1/2 by 40 ($16.80), coming in April; and Doble Robusto, 6 1/2 by 55 ($20), which is shipping in May.
These releases will be limited-production with a total of 10,000 boxes of each blend being shipped in 2022. Casa Turrent 1880 comes in boxes of ten.
