Hot Cake Fresh Out Of The Oven Broadleaf Coming From HVC

HVC Cigars is expanding its Hot Cake brand with a limited-production extension called Fresh Out of the Oven Broadleaf, named for its dark wrapper grown in the Connecticut River Valley. The line was shown at the PCA trade show in Las Vegas and is expected to start shipping to retailers in July.
Made at the Fabrica de Tabacos HVC S.A. factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, Fresh Out of the Oven Broadleaf is rolled with a dark Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder grown in Jalapa and Nicaraguan fillers from Estelí and Jalapa.
The cigars are intended to be medium to full-bodied and come in two sizes: Torpedo, measuring 5 1/2 inches by 52 ring gauge ($15); and Toro Extra, 5 1/2 by 54 ($17). Both sizes are packaged in boxes of 25.
Production is limited to 500 boxes of each size for 2024.
