Cuba-Themed Cigar Accessories

The beauty of Cuba enthralls cigar smokers, so scenes from this storied island and images of its flag make for natural embellishments for cigar accessories. Whether it’s a lighter, a cutter, an ashtray or a cigar case, several high-end companies have you covered.
Elie Bleu, the renowned French humidor maker, has a wide array of Cuba-themed accessories. Its Casa Cubana cutter, in white, ($250, bottom left) has a black blade, with images of a man walking in Havana smoking a cigar on one side, a classic car on the other. Pressing the gold satin trigger releases the blade vertically in a smooth action. The J-14 Jet Flame lighter ($560, center) is decorated with the Cuban flag in understated elegance, with a chrome trigger and black around the perimeter. It’s thick enough to give it a sturdy feel, but not so thick that it feels uncomfortable to carry and also has smooth action. The company’s Casa Cubana Porcelain Ashtray ($760, top left) captures the unique and colorful buildings of Havana with a view of Morro Castle in the background. A lazy palm tree leans just to remind you of the tropics. It’s so lovely you may hesitate to use it to ash your cigar.
Les Fines Lames believes cutting a cigar is best done with a knife and makes a host of stylish models, including the Le Petit Havana Streets Almendron ($169, bottom right). The painted wooden handle shows vibrant scenes from Old Havana, complete with a classic car. The knife is sleek, light and easy to carry, with a sharp, stainless-steel blade.
To truly showcase Cuban pride, consider the Three Finger Cuban Flag Leather Cigar Pouch by London’s VSB ($204, top right). The company’s calf-leather cases are exceptionally well-made, the interiors coated in red velvet to help protect your precious smokes.
