Daniel Marshall Anniversary Humidor Filled With Fuentes Coming in May

To celebrate 38 years in the business, humidor-maker Daniel Marshall has created an anniversary humidor set to land in the U.S. this May—and it comes with eight unique Fuente cigars.
The anniversary package was a collaboration between Marshall and Carlos Fuente Jr., president of Arturo Fuente Cigar Co. Within the macassar ebony humidor lies eight Daniel Marshall by Carlos Fuente XXXVIII Anniversary cigars, torpedos measuring 6 3/8 inches by 52 ring gauge. According to Marshall, all the tobacco for these cigars was grown at Chateau de la Fuente in the Dominican Republic, the same plantation that produces tobacco for the Fuente Fuente OpusX line.
Like all Fuente cigars, the anniversary smokes were made at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. in the Dominican Republic.
As a bonus, one cigar in every humidor comes wrapped in 24K gold leaf that Marshall applied himself. Each box is individually numbered and has a removable cedar shelf that expands the humidor’s capacity to 16 cigars.
In the U.S., the humidor will retail for around $1,500 though the price could be as high as $2,000 in other countries. Starting in May, these humidors will be available at select Daniel Marshall Campfire events and will also be sold at 38 tobacconists and hotels across 25 countries, each location to represent one of Marshall’s years in the cigar business.
The cigars and humidor were first unveiled earlier this year at the Daniel Marshall Cigar Lounge and Terrace in Kitzbuhel, Austria, the same venue he launched his 35th anniversary humidor.
The Daniel Marshall by Carlos Fuente XXXVIII Anniversary Cigars are not intended for individual sale but to be sold as a complete package with the humidor.
