Trinidad Edición Limitada Launching In London At Habanos World Days

Some Cuban cigars are released into the market without fanfare. Others get a big Edición Limitada 2024 firmly in the latter category. The cigar will be presented during a black-tie dinner in London held at the Victoria & Albert Museum on June 22.
The debut of the first World Days during the pandemic, it was a completely virtual program meant to be a replacement for the Habanos Festival, which was canceled due to Covid-19.
London’s Habanos World Days will be dedicated to the 55th Anniversary of the Habanos Festival, held earlier this year. The big difference with this event is that Habanos World Days guests will get to try the new Trinidad Cabildos, which was not ed out at any time during the Festival. The cigar measures 6 3/8 inches long by 46 ring gauge.
The first night starts with a cocktail party. Day 2 includes a seminar on Trinidad, an exhibition of its “most iconic launches” and a simultaneous tasting with 55 participating locations across the United Kingdom (much like the launch of U.K. Regional Edition Por Larrañaga last year). It will also feature the Trinidad Perfect Pairing, which was decided in April via competition. The Perfect Pairing is a chosen combination of drink and food that best accompanies a Trinidad cigar.
Tickets for each Habanos World Days evening are sold a la carte. The cocktail party on Thursday, June 20 runs £458.33 (about $575) per head; Friday’s seminar and exhibition costs £291.67 (roughly $365); and the final black-tie gala evening is set at £1,041.67 per ticket, which works out to around $1,300.
The entire affair will be hosted by Habanos S.A. and Hunters & Frankau, the United Kingdom’s official Habanos distributor.
